Rotaract Club is known for bringing together adults to take action in their communities, develop their leadership and professional skills. The General Rotary Meeting, was based on a theme called “FUSION” that clearly indicated the unification of several other colleges across Chennai. The event started with the Candle Lighting Ceremony followed by the commemoration of the newly elected Rotarians and their motivational speeches. The various college students displayed the PowerPoint Presentations which clearly picturized the social activities and the efforts of the students across Chennai in shaping the society and spreading vivacity throughout the terrain. The presentations were analyzed and questioned by the senior Rotarians. The event progressed forward with cultural performances such as dance, beat boxing, and singing in order to entertain the students. The function ended with a valedictory and the national anthem.  To throw some light to the highlights of the General Rotary Meeting, through the Rotaract programs, young adults not only augment their knowledge and skills but they also address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. It aids to emphasize respect for the rights and to promote moral standards.  Rotaract Club members stated that they look forward to be a part of such events affiliated with the Chennai Rotaract Club for building moral fiber and maintaining serenity in their modern world of chaos one step at a time.
